Nutrition

The nutritionist’s module: per-player nutritional targets, daily records, body-composition measurements with time evolution, and two importers (bulk Excel + Miguel Kazarez anthropometry-software PDF). 30-day team KPIs for skinfold sum, body-fat %, lean mass, and measurement coverage.

  • Problem it solves: the typical nutritionist lives in the anthropometry software’s Excel. CÉNIT imports the Kazarez PDF without retyping, makes the player’s evolution visible to the coaching staff, and lets you set individual goals (weight, body fat %, muscle mass, skinfolds).
  • Typical use cases: monthly squad measurement, weekly per-player adjustment of the meal plan, longitudinal follow-up after pre-season.
  • Plans: included on plans with the nutrition module.
  • Differentiator: deterministic Kazarez PDF parser (no AI), editable preview before saving, idempotent — re-importing the same PDF does not create duplicates.
  • Roles with access: Nutritionist, Head of Performance, Sporting Director, and Academy Coordinator.
  • Subsections: team KPIs, per-player panel (composition), goals, weekly meal plan, importers, time evolution.
  • Set goals: per player, calories + macros + hydration, and/or composition goals (body fat %, weight, muscle mass, skinfolds).
  • Log a day: player, date, calories, macros, hydration, supplements, notes, optional weight + body fat %.
  • Load a composition measurement: manual or via importers.
  • Import Kazarez PDF: upload PDF (≤10MB) → the system detects the format → shows an editable preview → save. Includes somatotype, computed lean mass, and skinfold sum.
  • Import Excel: up to 500 records per file.
  • Weekly meal plan: free text per player and week.
  • The Kazarez parser only supports that PDF — for other software, load manually or via Excel.
  • Scanned image PDFs do not work (no OCR). The parser detects and warns.
  • Lean mass ≠ muscle mass: lean mass is computed as weight − fat mass.

Player surface: N/A. The player does not see their composition measurements or macros. If in the future it is decided to expose their evolution, it would be a new tab in the player portal.

  • Kazarez PDF — local anthropometry software. Deterministic, date-idempotent parser.
  • Excel — free-form composition format, max 500 rows per import.
  • Squad: each measurement is reflected in the player’s profile.
  • HoP Report: composition and compliance feed the weekly report when data is available.
  • Parser limited to Kazarez — other software (InBody, Tanita) would require additional parsers.
