Staff roles

CÉNIT defines eleven roles for the coaching staff. Each user has exactly one role, and that role determines their permissions in the app. Roles are assigned when inviting the user from Settings → Users.

Actions reserved for HoP, Sporting Director, and Academy Coordinator

Section titled “Actions reserved for HoP, Sporting Director, and Academy Coordinator”

Three roles have access to the weekly HoP Report and to user management: Head of Performance, Sporting Director, and Academy Coordinator.

They can:

  • View and edit the weekly HoP Report.
  • Access /dashboard/usuarios (invite and revoke staff, generate the group onboarding link).

Actions exclusive to Head of Performance and Sporting Director:

  • Generate and view tokenized wellness links (legacy).
  • Configure the organization’s settings (name, slug, colors, logo, MD window, visible tabs, risks, teams).
  • Bulk delete and restore players from the Squad.

Other roles only see the modules that pertain to them.

Executive roles (Head of Performance, Sporting Director, and Academy Coordinator) are organization-wide and not assigned to sub-teams. The other roles can be assigned to one or more teams from Settings → Teams.

  1. Initial invitation: from Settings → Users → Invite, the Head of Performance, Sporting Director, or Academy Coordinator picks an email and a role. An invitation email is sent with a link to set a password.
  2. Later changes: edited from the same screen. The change applies to RLS and the UI on the next render.
  3. Staff self-onboarding: not applicable. Staff are always invited from inside. (Bulk self-onboarding is for players only — see Onboarding.)

The superadmin is not a club staff role: it is internal to CÉNIT and is used to manage client organizations. It is not part of the role matrix above.
