Calendar

The staff calendar consolidates trainings, matches, and microcycle events. It supports creating and editing sessions, copying a template session to multiple dates, marking per-player absences, and recording national-team call-ups in bulk.

  • Problem it solves: most clubs plan in Google Sheets or Excel and the data never crosses with load, wellness, or injuries. CÉNIT unifies calendar and metrics so an MD-2 wiped out by a national call-up is automatically reflected in the player’s ACWR.
  • Typical use cases: scheduling the week, copying the “activation workout” to the next 4 weeks in 30 seconds, removing a player who left for the national team from the count, leaving post-match notes (lineup, substitutions, observations).
  • Plans that include it: all (essential, pro, enterprise).
  • Differentiator: bulk copy with UTC time preservation and the multi-player call-up block are unique vs. generic “CRUD calendar” competitors.
  • Read: all staff roles.
  • Create / edit events: all staff can create sessions from the UI.
  • Copy events to multiple dates and mark national call-ups in bulk: Head of Performance, Sporting Director, and S&C.
  • Delete events: Head of Performance, Sporting Director, S&C, Sport Scientist, and Return-to-play.
  • Mark / clear individual absences: all staff except read-only roles.
  • Create session. ”+” button in month/week → modal with title, event type, custom session type (configurable in Settings), schedule, location, and notes.
  • Copy session to multiple dates. From an existing session’s modal → “Copy” → select up to 30 target dates. The system preserves the original time and duration and skips dates that already have an identical event.
  • Mark individual absence. Click the event → attendance panel → “Mark absent” → reason: injury, illness, personal, load management, coaching decision, or other.
  • Mark national call-up (bulk). “National team” button → pick players (1–50) + date range → the system creates national-call-up absences on every event in the range for those players. Skips ones that already exist.
  • Match notes. Free text can be edited on match-type events, associated with the match.
  • Session types (Settings → Session types): each org defines its own labels and colors.
  • Microcycle MD-N: the microcycle-day calculation is used in the player’s agenda to display their week.
  • Time shifting on copy: the original instant is preserved. If the source was “8 AM Buenos Aires” in winter and is copied to a date in summer, it remains the same moment of the day.
  • Call-up with no events in the range: does not error; the system simply reports 0 absences created.

The player’s agenda consumes the same events but hides the event type. It only shows time, MD-N, location, and a generic title. If the player has an absence registered for an event, the event gets a visual flag in their agenda.

  • MD-N: days until the next match. Used in the player’s agenda and in the Dashboard KPIs.
  • GPS Load: events with a session type are used as a reference to classify imported GPS sessions.
  • Risk Advisor: injury absences contribute to the player’s injury history.
  • HoP Report: the weekly summary counts sessions and absences.
  • No sync with external calendars (Google Calendar, iCal).
  • No native recurrence — the bulk copy flow covers it.
